The Power of a Vote

When voting for state and local officials, choices have very direct and concrete effects on the daily lives of the community.

The first step to making your voice is registering to vote:

✔️ Check your registration to make sure it is accurate and active.
✔️ Update your registration if you have changed names and/or changed addresses.

➡️  Fill out a voter registration application, then print it and send it to your county elections official.

If 100% of educators vote, we can change the outcome of elections.

The people you elect decide:

  1. How much to fund public schools
  2. How much time, money, and attention is spent on standardized testing
  3. Whether or not to support public education
  4. Whether or not to privatize education in Texas
